Why do you pole dance?
Pole Dancing is Everything to me! It has transformed my life in more ways than I could have ever imagined. What initially was trying a new form of dance that had always intrigued me, ended up igniting my passion while also helping me overcome heartbreak.  My confidence soared.  Physically, my body is stronger than ever and I now fit into my jeans from 10 years ago.  Beyond that, learning each new trick that I didn't think I was capable of has made me mentally strong.  I now push myself to see how far I can go.  It's given me an outlet to express my emotions through the art of pole dancing.  The friendships, positivity, and encouragement from my fellow sisters is the icing on the cake. I could go on and on, but all I know is that I can't imagine my life without it.

Female icon:
While there are so many amazing women, who initially came to mind is Petra Nemcova who established the Happy Hearts Fund after she survived the 2004 Thailand tsunami.  Her organization has rebuilt 107 schools to date across the globe in areas affected by natural disasters.  She is a testament to overcoming tragedy and creating something positive out of it.  More information about her story and her organization can be found on

Thanks Cherry Bomb for graciously offering your time and efforts to be a Parlour Girl... MUAH!
