Post-Podcast Interview :: Rebekah Boyle aka Pole Priestess

Who's ready to get woo woo?! This week on the podcast, we have Rebekah Boyle, the beautiful soul behind Pole Priestess. On this episode, we talk about how Rebekah experiences pole dance as a spiritual practice; how she developed Pole Priestess as a method of integrating the divine feminine into pole dance instruction; she gives advice on how we can integrate this style of conscious movement meditation into our own pole practices; and shares her experience performing at Burning Man and other outdoor locales. Fair warning, we get a bit woo woo, but even if that’s not your thing, I assure you this is a very fascinating, and potentially transformative episode. Check out the full episode here, then check out more from Rebekah below...

Where did you grow up, and what is your current home town?
I grew up in my early years on a Quaker school compound in Temple City CA which was amazing! And then moved to Malibu… And currently live in Pleasantville… aka South Pasadena CA.

Can you share a favorite pole dance photo of yourself?

And a favorite non-pole-life photo?
My Bestie and I shooting a special for a Mid summer nights dream fantasy video at the Play boy mansion…felt like walking into history …everything seems like its stuck in the 1970’s there. (I am in the blue dress)

What’s your go-to pole move?
Extended Butterfly, My body naturally finds it no matter what I am intending… another one is the superwoman… it’s amazing what naturally emerges.

Give us a sexy floorwork song.

What’s a YouTube pole dance video we should check out?
Since I have a background in photography I love to see production quality and atmosphere… Pole for me is as much about the moves as the vibe and atmosphere.

Give us a song that makes you want to immediately strip off your clothes and jump on the pole.
haha! It’s crazy because I’ve been getting wild to this song and until you asked for a link, I’ve never had bothered to find a video for it… I really must have some kind of karmic sac-religious, pagan thing going on… Just watch the vid! LOL

Who should we follow on Instagram?
@thebabecollective SO many great messages about the sacred feminine and body love…life love…female-centric positivity.

@starstar_design for fun & creative costuming

Show us an inspiring image.

Who would you like to see interviewed on the Pole Parlour Podcast?
Marion Crampe (My fav) Also Marlo Fisken

Thank you so much, Madame Priestess! <3
