This week on the podcast, we have a pole babe from my newly adopted hometown of Austin Texas, Lindsey Dement! On this episode, we have a good ol’ time talking about why Lindsey chose to stay local rather than internationally tour as a pole professional; how she manages to keep her classes full as an instructor; how she found her sexy by owning her own personal style; and we get the lowdown on how Lindsey went from stalking to working for Cleo the Hurricane at Cleo’s Rock N Pole! Watch or listen to her episode here, then check out more from Lindsey below!
Where did you grow up, and what is your current home town?
I grew up in San Antonio and I have been living in Austin for the past 10+ years.
Can you share a favorite pole dance photo of yourself?
This photo is so old but I just love it! R.I.P. 2012 body
And a favorite non-pole-life photo?
This was taken in the middle of downtown Austin during a red light. I was so nervous and glad I didn't get arrested! My Mom loves this picture. She says I look like I am in the zombie apocalypse.
What’s your go-to pole move?
My go-to move will always and forever be a hair whip. I tell my students "when in doubt, hair whip it out!" I just love hairography.
Give us a sexy floorwork song.
What’s a YouTube pole dance video we should check out?
We are going to kick it old school with this one. I saw this video for the first time when I was a newb and watched it about 6 million times and never got sick of it. It's the queen of cool, Alethea Austin
Give us a song that makes you want to immediately strip off your clothes and jump on the pole.
Who should we follow on Instagram?
I'm GAGGING over this rock n roll burlesque troupe called Little Miss Nasty (thanks to you!) @littlemissnasty (Note from Crimson: yaaassss <3)
Show us an inspiring image.
Who would you like to see interviewed on the Pole Parlour Podcast?
I would like to see Daniel Rosen interviewed. I love watching his IG videos and I think he is hysterical!
Thanks so much, Lindsey! MUAH! XXX
