Post-Podcast Interview :: Shay Williamson

This week on the podcast, we have the sweet and ambitious Utah pole babe, Shay Williamson! On this episode, we talk about how Shay’s mom was responsible for first introducing her to pole dance, how she has capitalized on the unique opportunity of living in a small town in Utah to create a multi-faceted career as a full-time pole and aerial professional, her experience and passion for competing in pole competitions around the country, and how she’s managed to create and run her own Aerialympics pole dance competition in her home town. Check out Shay's full episode here, then check out more from Shay below...

Where did you grow up, and what is your current home town?
I grew up in Layton, Utah! I have moved around out of state and am happily back home in Layton!

Can you share a favorite pole dance photo of yourself?

And a favorite non-pole-life photo?

What’s your go-to pole move?
Ooh! I am all about the liquid motion rolls on the floor! I love to show strong and bendy. So deadlift handsprings and spatchcock and broken split are some of my faves!

Give us a sexy floorwork song.

What’s a YouTube pole dance video we should check out?

Give us a song that makes you want to immediately strip off your clothes and jump on the pole.

Who should we follow on Instagram?
@dewpointpole ;)

Show us an inspiring image.
{the creative process} this is my liiiiiife. It will all be ok, it always is.

Who would you like to see interviewed on the Pole Parlour Podcast?
catch up with Jason Lam? He's pretty damn inspiring.

Thanks so much, Shay! XXX
